IVA ĆIRIĆ: ILLUSTRATIONS AND ANIMATIONS

By presenting works of our most significant artists in the fields of illus - tration and animation Gallery of the Cultural Center of Jagodina aims at acknowledging the art of animation and inspiring the conquest new visual expressions in this field. The 7th edition of Animator fest presents you the artistic portfolio of Iva Ćirić! The exhibition encompasses two segments: the first one is made up of Iva’s personal illustrations as well as illustrations for children through series of vignettes for plays produced by the theatre ‘PUŽ’ whereas the second one presents a visual testimony of her work on films Monu - ments (2010), Meaning – part of the Radiovision project based on text by Meša Selimović for the Serbian National Television, and Florigami (2017). From playful children’s illustrations, works of rafined stylization to meticulously dosed realism, whether it is about illustration, film or a puppet show, Iva’s work is transmitting a strong visual message.
